A good resource for DHTML information from Netscape which includes an introduction to DHTML, demos, sample code, and more.

 

Over 20 interesting demonstrations of using Dynamic HTML, with examples primarily for Internet Explorer, but also a few that work with Netscape.

 

Microsoft's Dynamic HTML reference, detailing all the properties, methods, and events that Internet Explorer supports. This site also includes HTML and CSS references, a color table, and a tips and tricks section. An excellent and complete DHTML resource.

 

A collection of DHTML scripts for adding additional functionality and interest to your web pages. Each script has a description, a working example, and easy to follow instructions and cut and paste code. Scripts are arranged in such categories as menus and navigation systems, document effects, scrollers, image effects, links and buttons, and much more.

This site details and gives examples of the different ways that Netscape and IE handle different DHTML properties. It includes how to do browser checking, hiding and showing elements, moving and sliding elements, working with forms, dragging and dropping objects, changing images, and much, much more. This is a really nice site for learning how to make DHTML work in the "big two" browsers, as well as for learning what DHTML is and what it can do.

 

An excellent resource for DHTML that features information for both the beginner and the more experienced and includes excerpts from a DHTML book, tutorials, examples, additional DHTML resources, and more.

 

An excellent collection of very interesting and useful DHTML examples that falls a little short due to the lack of descriptions of the scripts and no copy and paste source code. However, by looking at the source code of the example pages, you should be able to figure out how to implement them on your own. The available scripts are categorized by browser version, and many are not cross browser compatible, but they're definitely worth a look.

 

An introduction to DHTML that covers such topics as positioning, properties of style, inline styles, changing rules, events, and more.

 

A very nice introduction to DHTML that discusses what Dynamic HTML is and covers topics like client-side scripting, the Document Object Model (DOM), and cascading stylesheets. It also shows you some practical DHTML goodies to spiff up your site.
